My Rude Awakening in Live Cam Land

I was rude and I paid the price for it.
I found the girl of my dreams and was gladly received into her bedroom in the to enjoy many moments of sheer bliss and enjoyment. I found in her something quite special which went deeper than the mere fact that she was mind boggling gorgeous and had a great body. She was kind, polite and quite an endearing soul. Someone who could easily steel your heart. But she was also Russian and with a modest use of the English was prone to a possible misunderstanding of words. And, I blew it.

When I used the word “lazy” in what I thought a good natured way she interpreted it as being rude and banned me for 30 days. Understanding the mishap, and rather than attempting to further complicate matters I simply went with it apologizing and letting her know through another alias that she was right and I stood corrected. With that approach the matter was quickly resolved. I tokened her generously for her yielding and understanding spirit.

Later I considered this mini drama more closely and had to come to the stark conclusion she may have been more right than I would like to have admitted. Yes … in many ways I can be rude. So, I decided to do a little study on it and indeed I realize now that I am sometimes rude unconsciously.

Here’s the scaled down definintion: rude

ADJECTIVE

– impolite or ill-mannered.

ill-mannered · bad-mannered · impolite · discourteous · impertinent

– having a startling abruptness.

abrupt · sudden · sharp · startling · unpleasant · disagreeable · nasty

– roughly made or done; lacking subtlety or sophistication

primitive · crude · rudimentary · rough · rough-hewn · rough and ready

Well … I can think of many times when I fit all of these nuances of the definition and through this lovely high integrity model who demanded courtesy on her page, and justifiably so, I realized that I had a little soul searching to do.

Although it was a somewhat disheartening my lesson came to a happy ending, albeit, a few dollars shorter. I went to my wife and hugged her apologizing for all the times I was inadvertently rude to her and promised to be more aware and conscious. Needless to say the smile I received from her was huge and heartwarming. She mentioned that rudeness sometimes originates from a need to “get” something. When I thought about it I realizes that what she said certainly held true in my relationship with the lovely model as I failed to consider my words and the impact they might have on her. I guess I do this sometimes and am the better for having been brought to my senses.
